Of course I love any episode where Black Magician Girl makes an appearance. Even though her cleavage has been reduced by Upperdeck and her pentagram has been cahnged into a jewel (if you haven't learned by now, pentagrams = devil with this dubbing company), I still think she rules. Of course, Arkana/Pandora is but a puppet for Malik, as revealed in this ep. Well, enjoy...

You know, I'm glad 4Kids is actually keeping in the Catherine-Arkana/Pandora love story, but they're talking about it WAY too much now. They focus a lot more on the game in the Japanese. Instead of Yami's thoughts about Catherine, Dark Yuugi reflects upon Pandora's Black Magician sacrifice.

In other news, Black => Dark Magic Curtain. Because Black Magic can't be referenced due to the eternal 7-year old audience.

Well, the "Dark" Magic Curtain has its pentagram changed to a ten-pointed star, ala other things in this three-part arc. No surprise. Also, when the "Dark" Magician Girl is summoned in the dub, its pentagram is changed to a blurry red gem. Soon after, the Girl is summoned, she owns Pandora's life points to win the duel.

"Not even a cheat like Arkana deserves to go to the Shadow Realm"- Little Yugi We can all infer that Yuugi really said something on the order of no one should die for a card game. Although on this show, many have.

Malik's backstory is cut out here. He discusses the lack of contact with the outside world the family has, and stuff. Paired with some artistic visuals of the Ishtar clan. All gone in the dub. :/ Plus, in the dub, "Marik" talks about the Millennium Puzzle WAYYY too much.

At the end, when Malik holds up his Ra card, in english at the top it says "THE SUN OF GOD DRAGON". Why couldn't they keep its original name? Still "The Winged Dragon of Ra" isn't as bad as "Slifer". Seriously, what was 4Kids thinking? Well, so ends the Pandora's Box arc, and our lives go on.
