You know, this is the second or third time out of a million that this will be used in the dub BC saga.  Plus, the dialogue between Yuugi and The Other Him has been changed around, chopped like an onion, put in a blender, and then put in front of the American audience.  Yami no Yuugi tells him that the deck is finished, but Yuugi says that the game isn't over!  Atemu asks him then if he should add more magic cards.  After some concise talk about the BC tournament being personal for both of them, Dark Yuugi ends their talk with "Partner".

Joey Wheeler's VA is still Adam Blaustein... and he hasn't improved at all.  He makes Jounouchi seem like a New Yorker punk, when really he's a sweet kid, with a slightly tough exterior.  Jounouchi Katsuya's VA is Morikawa Toshiyuki.  He does a great job staying true to the manga, and really voices the character as it's supposed to be.

Tristan Taylor's VA is now Eric Stuart.  Last time when Kevin reviewed the voice of Tristan at the beginning of DK, he said he sounded congested.  Now, with the new VA, "Tristan" has greatly improved.  He sounds exactly like an American version of Hiroto Honda, and that's a great thing.  Another tough on the outsides kid that really cares for his friends and other people, both Stuart and Okiayu Ryoutarou, the Japanese VA of Hiroto Honda do a great job portraying this.

Dub Kaiba's VA remains Eric "Director" Stuart.  At this point in the Japanese version, Kaiba begins to have more emotion, however Stuart keeps Kaiba how he was in the DK series- dark and foreboding.  Unfortuantely, that doesn't work any longer, so I'd have to say Dub Kaiba's voice has not improved.  Kaiba Seto's Japanese VA is Tsuda Kenjirou.  He does a magnificent job of having Kaiba's voice change from dark and foreboding in the DK series to having more of a heart in the BC series, and it's great.

Tea Gardener's VA is still Amy Birnbaum.  She sounds sort of like the Japanese Anzu, however Tea sounds more like a snotty teenager than a sweet girl like the Japanese VA makes her seem.  Since she sounds the same as the DK, but she makes a LOT less speeches than she did in DK, I'd say she's slightly improved.  As for Saitou Maki, I think that she could have Anzu sound a bit less like a ten year old and more like her age, but she's still far and away better than Amy's Tea.

Mai Valentine's VA remains Megan Hollingshead, a VA that's had quite a range of 4Kids work, such as Nurse Joi on Pocket Monsters.  Unfortunately, 4Kids made her sound like a bitch for the character of Mai, when really she should have used her Joi voice.  It would have been perfect, since that would emulate the Japanese Mai pretty closely.  Kujaku Mai's Japanese VA is Terada Haruhi, who talks like Mai should talk, since Mai isn't supposed to sound thirty-five.

Serenity Wheeler's VA remains Lisa Ortiz from the one DK episode.  I really like her voice for Shizuka, it sounds like she's still the girl from the Japanese version, but English-fied.  Jounouchi Shizuka's Japanese VA is Sakenobe Mika.  She definitely is who I'd think of if I look at Shizuka from the manga- a perfect match.

Ryou Bakoora's VA is still Ted Lewis.  Lewis puts on an Australian accent for the role of Bakoora, which seems horribly out of place.  They really should have had him use the same voice, but with a regular American accent, and it would have worked.  After Inoue You's passing, Bakura Ryou is now voiced by Matsumoto Rika.  She does the same great job as Inoue You, however I still think that Inoue did a slightly better job.  Nevertheless, she is still much better than Lewis's Bakura.

Solomon Moto's VA has put on a REALLY BAD OLD MAN VOICE.  It's obvious that whoever the English VA is, he's in his thirties.  Why didn't they get a real old guy, like they did in the Japanese version, Miyazawa Tadashi?  It really sounds strained.

And finally, Mokuba Kaiba's English VA gives him a typical 4Kids little kid voice, which is okay by me, since he's not a really integral part of the show.  He pretty much just tags along with his big brother the whole time, and when he's not with him, he out as Commissioner of the BC tourney, spotting every minor infraction the duelists commit.  I still believe that Tsuda Kenjirou gives Mokuba a more original kid's voice, however.
