How was everyone’s “Labor Day” weekend? I hope it was good, I blew my whole weekend working and finishing the new editorial which is currently up in the “Editorial” section (obviously). I can’t talk much now, but I’ll try to upload my thoughts about the dubs of “Sonic X” and “Shaman King” in my next update, as well as an episode comparison (hopefully). I also realized that my comparisons are a mess, have mistakes, and are poorly written, so I’ll be do “Project Episode Comparison Restoration” soon. Sucky name? Well blame it on my all work weekend. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go play some “Soul Caliber II” and go to bed.

I must say that I now completely understand how hard it can be in finding time to update a website. I’d like to take this moment to apologize to “Sailor Moon Uncensored” for my complaining about the lack of updates to that website, I sympathize with you guys now. Between work, my cable problems, church activities, and so forth, I am finding it quite hard to find time to do some actual episode comparisons. Looks like I won’t reach my goal of finishing to “Duelist Kingdom Saga” by the end of summer after all. Oh well, I still think I should have the time to finish up those darn episodes before the year is done (Hopefully I’ll be past the filler stuff too). At any rate I don’t have a new comparison up, but I do have a new editorial up about “Shonen Jump” that will be a two part show. I know some of you were waiting for me to talk about the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” movie, but with the recent news of Warner trying to pick up a new “Yu-Gi-Oh!” movie that’s in the works, then that means a somewhat re-working of my original writing. Needless to say, I’m only mildly excited about the new movie. I’m excited that we’ll FINALLY be getting a new movie, but I’m BUMMED that Warner Bros. will be teaming up with 4Kids Entertainment to bring it to America (Where’s Miramax when you need them)!!!
I have a good idea of how the movie will be treated, and here’s my suspicions (In no particular order):
1. Deep and cool villain will be turned into a retard (Mewtwo).
Let’s see if my predictions come true come 2004. Anyway that’s all for now, hopefully it won’t be too long before the next update.

Been a while hasn't it? I bet you guys are looking at this site and feeling a bit disappointed that after five months of being on the web this site only has 11 episode comparisons, two editorials, and one opinion piece (Okay, don't blame me for the opinions, I'm still waiting for you guys to send them in. Most of the one's I've received are sadly too immature, or contain too much bad language, to put on the site). Not much is it. I'm sure those of you who have e-mailed me are also probably waiting for a response from me soon, and whatever did happen to that whole "YGO! Uncensored" merging project that was supposed to happen about a month ago? Well as I explained on my last update (Which I realize I did not spell check entirely, sorry) my computer crashed, and it crashed a scant week before I was supposed to leave for my ten day vacation to New Jersey, so my computer problem didn't get resolved until I got back. Now my computer is fixed, I will get around to re-writing the third editorial (Which I lost because of my computer problems), taking new notes for the next couple of episode comparisons, and regular updates will resume either next week or the week after...although I will try to get the third editorial up by the end of this week, no promises though.
Anyway as some people have been pointing out my HTML sucks (Even though I use a cut and paste program provided by Yahoo! as there is no real HTML on my site). Well for my next year in collage I will be taking some HTML classes, which means this site (And another site I plan to be starting soon) will soon start looking much better, so just bear with me as I'm going to actually be learning HTML! Which means normal comparison boxes at last! Anyway I guess I'll talk a little bit about what's been going on lately. On vacation I got "Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix," read it in four days, and I must say that I think that this series may soon overshadow "The Lord of The Ring" books as the king of fantasy books very soon (Heck, this book might possibly be bigger then the those three books put together), if you haven't read these Harry Potter books you owe it to yourself to go pick them up. Heck, if you've never read them before then it might be much easier on you guys then it was for me as you have the first five books at once compared to the three years I had to wait before I got to read the fifth book. I also saw (And highly recommend) "Hulk," which I think is a much better movie then practically all my friends say it is. On another note if you haven't seen the "The Matrix: Reloaded" on the IMAX yet you deserve to. Trust me when I say that seeing "The Matrix" on the IMAX is an experience unlike any other. Also I'd like to brag about the fact that of all the stories in "Shonen Jump," "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is the only series to now have three chapters a month ("Dragon Ball Z" doesn't count as the chapters for that series are MUCH shorter then the chapters are for the other stories). Yeah I know that the only reason "Yu-Gi-Oh!" probably has the most chapters is because of it's popularity, but it's certainly a nice consolation prize to be able to have the most chapters of the uncut manga to read (As the anime is still being mangled before the fans eye's). And I'd also like to bow my head in sorrow of the cancellation of "Raijin Comics." Wait, I'm sorry that might be a bit misleading as the magazine has not been cancelled, but considering the changes that are being made it might as well have been. "Raijin Comics" was (And still is) a great magazine that provided a verity of manga weekly, that included interesting manga's such as "The First President of Japan," "Slam Dunk," and "Guardian Angle Getten," and even included one chapter manga stories like "American Dream." In short, this magazine was for true otaku fans who wanted to read manga that was truly different from most of the stuff Tokyopop and Viz released.
Sadly sales weren't up to snuff, and starting in September "Raijin Comics" will go from weekly to monthly. Darn, I really wish more people would have bought this magazine right along side of "Shonen Jump." Oh well, life goes on I guess. And that's all for today, regular updates shall return soon. And I know that my family doesn't read this site because let's face it, it's about a show with a boy who saves the from evil using trading cards, but if you're reading this Aunt Mary, Uncle Scott, and Uncle Ning, you guys are the best! And as for the rest of my family who did NOT come to see me while I was in New Jersey (Uncle Terrance, Uncle Tim, and Grandma), screw you!

We need to talk.
My computer is officially dead now, I am updating this site on a friends computer. I will make this as short and simple as possable. Guys, for the next few weeks there will be no updates what-so-ever, for the time being the site is dead until I can figure out what to do about my computer problems. No I'm not quitting the site, just letting you know that updates will be non-existant until this problem gets resolved. Sorry. Now I need to go, because you have no idea about how hard it can be to type on another keyboard that you are not familiar with until you try it. Just to save you the trouble of trying yourself I'll say this: This short paragraph took about 15 to type because of the sheer number of mistakes. Oh well, talk to you later when my real computers fixed.

| June 4th, 2003 | I promised you I’d have a new episode comparison up for you by June 4th didn’t I? Well I don’t have a new comparison for you. Nope, I have uploaded two comparisons for you today. This is my way of saying “Sorry for taking so long to get these up.” I can’t talk long today, but if there are any visitors here over the age of 17 you might want to pick yourself up a copy of “The Animatrix” DVD, as it is quite good. Hope to update soon with another comparison as well as an editorial. Oh and by the way, my e-mail is down at the moment, so I apologize to anyone who has e-mail me and I haven’t responded yet. I’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Strap yourselves in folks, because today we’ve got some big news to discuss (Yes, the comparisons are still up in the air, but I promise you will see one before we hit June 4th at least). First off, it appears that 4Kids Entertainment and Nintendo are planning on bringing a whole new feature to the Game Boy Advance: TV! Yes, according to this article 4Kids and Nintendo are going to start releasing TV show cartridges for under $20, with each cartridge containing 2 episodes of such hit shows like “Pokemon” and “Sucky Dub”…I’m sorry, I mean “Yu-Gi-Oh! (Man how I hate referring to the English version as YGO!)” So it looks like TV just isn’t enough for 4Kids, they have to continue to shove their awful dubs down our throats by releasing these shows on GBA’s.
Granted the idea for the technology sounds exciting, and this would probably be a cheap solution to get someone for the kids on long car rides and plane trips, but it just disgusts me that they have found a way to basically sell crap to kids and get away with it. This sounds like a cool idea, but unless there’s some QUALITY programming to buy then this feels like a wasted effort! I know kids tell me all the time that there is nothing wrong with YGO!, and that it’s a cool show, but then I have to tell them that they simply don’t know what they are missing. So in a word this sounds like a cool idea, but buying the crappy dub of YGO! on a GBA doesn’t sound worth it. This will become a cool feature once we get “X-Men: Evolution” and “Spongebob Square Pants” on these cartridges. Until then though this news sounds more dreadful then fun.
Oh and also two great anime shows known as “Shaman King” and “Sonic X” have been picked up by 4Kids Entertainment to air on “Fox Box” this fall. I’d hope for subtitled versions of these shows, but I know that is most likely not going to happen. In the mean time read “Shaman King” in “Shonen Jump,” and watch “Sonic X” from Team Artail. And maybe someday we’ll see “Shaman King Uncensored!” perhaps? Well that’s the news for today, see you soon.

Well I sent the e-mail out to “YGO! Uncensored 2” and they said they’d give me an answer in a couple days. Which means we shall wait and see what the answer is, and what shall become of the site afterwards. But the site doesn’t have to be update less while we are waiting does it? Of course not. So until further notice this shall unofficially be “commentary month.” I’ll just talk about various different subjects as my way of (Hopefully) entertaining you until the situation gets resolved. So first up let’s talk about the latest issue of “Shonen Jump.” If you haven’t picked up the latest issue yet I suggest you do so as soon as you can, the latest issue is the best issue they’ve released yet. Everything (And I mean EVERYTHING) happens in this issue.
The mysterious man from Egypt enters Yugi’s mind and discovers some dark secrets in “Yu-Gi-Oh!” A new shaman named Ren is after You’s ghost Amidamaru (This chapter leaves off at a nail biting cliff hanger) in “Shaman King.” In “Yu Yu Hakusho” Yusuke’s after-life is threatened. The fate of the shinobi’s in “Naruto” come into question, and “Sand Land“ has finally started to get more interesting (And it now has two chapter’s instead of one). And “Dragon Ball Z” and “One Piece” continue to be awesome of course. I’d still like it if all of the series were guarantied at least three chapters each, but I guess an extra chapter of “Sand Land” works instead (Personally, I want that series to be over with so we can get something else in there). Anyway if you haven’t picked up the latest “Shonen Jump,” go get it now. What else is on the list? Oh yeah, has anyone picked up the “Castle In The Sky” DVD yet? As you know I bought it quite some time ago, but I just recently watched the subtitled version. Just for the record, the only reason it took so long to watch the movie subtitled is because I’ve had a fansub for the longest time, and I just wanted to invest time to check out the dub and figured I’d watch the sub later. I have finally watched it, and I am dismayed to tell you that the subtitles are out of sync. So for those of you who haven’t bought the DVD yet (And for those that have), I would recommend writing a letter to Disney to demand a DVD with the corrected subtitles. I’m not going to go all petition on this thing like I have with “Yu-Gi-Oh!,” but out of sync subtitles are careless and Disney needs to fix their mistake here.
In other news Jeff Harris of “CNX: Toonami” has opened up his new website “The Bridge.” I recommend you check it out. Also did anyone see the sneak preview of WB’s upcoming cartoon “Teen Titans” during a new episode of “Sucky Dub?” Let’s say that I have loved everyone of WB’s superhero cartoon shows. From “Batman: TAS,” to “Superman,” to “Batman Beyond” and “Justice League,” heck I even love “Static Shock” and “The Zeta Project,” and I can say with a fair amount of confidence that “Teen Titans” was one of the stupidest things I’ve seen in the last five years when it comes to kids shows. It was poorly animated, the kids acted so stupid, and the whole five minutes looked like the animator’s had no idea how to make this work. I hope it’s good in the end, but from the looks of things the animator’s don’t know what they are doing with this. And that’s all I have to say today. Hopefully the next update will come packaged with a new episode comparison.

Update on the “Yu-Gi-Oh! Uncensored 2” situation (As I’m going to call it from now on). I wrote to the guys, and here’s the e-mail I got back:
Hm. Yes, I did create it, with my friend doing the HTML and such. I'm not sure when exactly I made it but it was around late 2002 I had a basic page with a few episode comparisons and then I took it down for a little bit for a new HTML look and then put it back up again. (Still not done putting up all the episode edit lists and everything) I'm aware of the typical 'uncensored' look, but I decided to break away and do it a bit different, since I kind of wanted to include multimedia, episode symptoms, and character guides and things like that. (Though I would never branch out into the TCG portion of YGO.) I'm not sure what to make of the prediciment, since people are also greatly attracted to my site as well. (I use to post edit lists on a big message board, until someone suggusted I make a site, and I did.) I was thinking of registering the domain of ygouncensored.com or .net. Hm. Interesting e-mail huh? I must say, the webmaster seems to be a very nice guy that’s for sure, but I have to question some of the information he gave me. I don’t want to sound like someone who doesn’t trust what anyone says, but I’d like to say something about his claim to have put the site up by late 2002 (And then have taken it down again for a short period of time). Again, not to make it sound like I don’t trust this guy as I don’t have any reason to believe that he would lie to me, but when I started working on this site in late August of 2002 I did web searches every week while I was creating this site to see if there were any “YGO! Uncensored” out there. I did this every week for a few months, and I never came upon a “YGO! Uncensored” website out there. The reason I did this was because I didn’t want to make a “YGO! Uncensored” site if someone else was going to beat me to the punch. It just didn’t make sense. I even did searches for a month after I posted this site just to make double sure. Never found a “YGO! Uncensored” site, and thus I felt safe. So sorry if I don’t fully believe this guys claims that he was there first, but I did my homework…and again, this site doesn’t archive their updates, so it’s hard to know when this site went up (Although I give credit to the guy for admitting that he doesn’t remember exactly WHEN the site went up). I think the other problem comes in with his claim that his site is gaining a following too. And it’s not the his claim that the site has a following because the site probably does have a following, but the problem is that there is no counter on the site that says exactly how much people visit, so I guess we have another stalemate when it comes to the claims (Which I never claimed were false, it’s just that there is nothing backing up these claims yet). I think the thing that scares me the most is his plans to buy the domain name ygouncensored.com or .net. I mean I could register the domain name first (Or another similar name), but that would be fighting dirty, and I don’t want this to become an online war between us. I don’t want to comment on which site I feel is better or more well written, because that would just be asking for an unwanted war, but there are some good things about this site that outweighs the bad things. So I’m actually considering making a deal with these people in the form of becoming sister sites. I’m not 100% sure on how to do this, but I’ve got some ideas on how this could work out. And this would accomplish two things: One it would mean neither of us would have to get into an online war about which site is better then the other (Or which one stays online and which one doesn’t), and we could help inform the public about the evil that 4Kids has bestowed on people in different ways, and make our voice (And cause) louder then before! I’m going to e-mail them back and offer a proposal, but I would REALLY appreciate it if you guys could look at both sites and send e-mails to both me and the other guys on how you think a joint project could work!
The updates on this site are still on hold until this situation gets finalized (Or at least until I’ve decided on what to do), but hopefully an agreement can happen soon and we can get on with the regular updates. Remember though, we could use your opinions on this matter though. So send us both e-mails on how you would like to see the situation handled! I’ll keep you posted on further developments.

It’s amazing some of the things you find on the internet these days. I didn’t plan to update the website today since I didn’t have any new content to post, but something caught my eye that I found interesting today. Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to “Yu-Gi-Oh! Uncensored!” Confused yet? I am too. I was on the message board at “Sailormoon Uncensored” when I noticed a member with a “YGO! Uncensored” button as his signature, and being the webmaster of this site I got curious and clicked on it. What I was welcomed to was a site claiming to be “YGO Uncensored.” What should we make of this? I’m not sure honestly. Yes I never did claim any ownership of “YGO Uncensored,” and yes it’s a free country to do whatever the heck you want, but finding this site kind of makes me irritated for some reason.
I guess the first thing about the site that irritates me is that someone created a site that I already created, and of course are taking credit for it. Now I know this shouldn’t irritate me because maybe they didn’t realize there was already a “YGO Uncensored” on the web (Wouldn’t surprise me, my site IS hard to find), maybe they are totally unaware of the fact that there are now two “YGO! Uncensored” sites on the market, and maybe by some freak accident they actually created “YGO! Uncensored” first!!! Yes, perish the thought, but maybe they were here first, which would bum me out because this is the first site I’ve created that has ever made people actually come back to visit (I tried created about six different web sites before I struck gold with this one). However it’s hard to confirm who came first since this “YGO! Uncensored” doesn’t archive their updates, and thus I have no idea when the site was first published (Just for the record, this site went online on January 14th of this year).
Another problem that irritates me is that since their site most likely won’t go down (Unlike mine since I can’t afford a decent server to save my life), they’ll most likely become popular and everything, and not to sound like I crave fame, but after all the work I’ve put into this site (And all the work I plan to continue to put into this site) it would really suck if these guys beat me at my own game because I can’t afford a decent server. So what do I do about it now? I don’t know, but I think I’m going to start by sending them an e-mail about, about…something, and then see what happens after that. Until then content on this site will (Unfortunately) cease until I get to the bottom of this. Hopefully the next update will be more cheerful, and maybe I’ll have time to talk about “Shonen Jump Vol. 6” (A REALLY good issue)…oh, and I’ve also archived last month’s news. So until next time have fun.
