Our first winners are for Best Couple, which might contain some spoilers for those of you who have not finished Silent Hill 2. So if you didn't finish it, quick! Go beat it and then come back! For the rest of you, the winner of the Best Couple award goes to James and Mary Sunderland. Here to accept the award is James, because, well, Mary is kind of dead.
Wow, I must say I am a little surprised that Mary and I won this award, seeing as how I killed her and all. guess I better go and get the Rebirth ending so I can resurrect her and show her this lovely award. I just hope Laura doesn't steal it."
Thank you, James. That was a beautiful, if not odd, acceptance speech. Do not spill your ritual items on my carpet. Second place was a two-way tie between Yuna and Tidus from Final Fantasy X, and Ash and his boomstick from Evil Dead. Congrats guys. Third place was taken by Aeris and Cloud from Final Fantasy 7. All of our couples are beautiful and strange and wonderful. And thanks to whoever did the camera hack to get that picture that I used for James. I swear I will give you credit when I remember who it was.
Our next category was Best Cinematics, and our winner was the Silent Hill series. And since James is off gathering ritualistic items, here to accept the award for the Silent Hill series is Cheryl Mason from Silent Hill 1.
"Wow! We in Silent Hill have the best cinematics? I am so hapy to be here tonight to accept this award because it means that I don't have to be in a car accident with my dad. Or joining up with my other half. Or being reborn into another human being entirely. We are so happy that we have entertained you with our pretty movies for all these years. Thank you for loving us so much."
Oh, Cheryl. We were glad you could be here for the award. Second place was another two-way tie, this time between Knights of the Old Republic and Kingdom Hearts. Third place was a three-way tie! It was between the Final Fantasy series, Resident Evil, and Parasite Eve.
Our last category was Best Voice Acting, and our winner was, in a clean sweep of each category, Silent Hill! And here to accept the award for Silent Hill, since Cheryl has now run off into the fog on me, little Walter Sullivan from Silent Hill 4.
"This award is pretty. Has anyone seen my mom? I need to go find her."
Well, thanks for that Walter. In second place we have Kingdom Hearts, and in third we have Evil Dead.
That concludes this portion of the Chibiusa Awards. What have we learned in this round? Well, I can tell you that I learned that when one wants to pimp out their video game awards page, one should not just pimp it out in a Silent Hill forum, lol. For this next round, Jade and I will be spreading the word a bit better. Thank you to everyone who voted.
