I really don't see a parallel between the birth of this site and what it stood for, and us not having a need for a new forum. I just honestly think there isn't enough need for that forum.

Hell the Other Bad Dubs forum has what....2 active threads. Yeah that's useful.

Well that's what the site stands for- informing fans and rallying them against crappy/butchered/mistreated animes. There's been talk of expanding the site and this would fit in perfectly with the overall theme of what we're all about.

Besides, if we dislike the Naruto translations so much (and many other people on other message boards do) then we should try to find a way of getting the fans to express themselves towards Viz. Same with censorship in DBZ and Hikaru no Go, and this would be a perfect market to bring into the Dbzoa. And Viz and other companies (ADV) aren't going to improve unless the fans demand they do, and they won't unless they get informed somehow from somewhere. And a butchered manga forum would be the perfect basis for helping to do that.

I would say either make it a subforum or combine it with the "other poor dubs" forum and rename it "other butchered dubs/manga" like SJR suggested.

The more I think about this more resolute I become in opossing either change.

Let's say we go ahead with the change...be it a subforum, a new forum, or renaming a forum.

A thread is made about how Naruto has changed attack names. A thread about how Initial D sucks is made, and a thread about Azumanga Daioh and its sucky nature is made.

That's it. Three threads. w000t.

There is NO NEED to mess with this as in there is not nearly enough of a reason to talk about butchered manga. Hell the "Fuck you Viz" thread covers everything anyone could talk about.

You can only discuss changed attack names so many times. And for manga, you have no accurate counterpart to put it up against like you do with anime.
